Meeple Meeter helps people share board-game collections and arrange game nights. Christian Carey operates the service.
Information we use
We store your account email and authentication identifiers, display name, optional city, profile image if supplied by your login provider, shelf entries, group memberships, invitations, availability responses, event details, and notifications. Supabase manages passwords and login sessions. We do not receive your Google or Discord password.
Sign in with Google or Discord
Social sign-in supplies your basic account identity, email, name, and profile image. Google sign-in does not give Meeple Meeter access to your Gmail messages or calendar. We use Google user data only for sign-in, your profile, and the features you choose to use. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Who can see what
Your profile and shelf are visible to members of shared groups and people connected through your invitations or events. Group membership is private to group members. Hosts, invitation recipients, and attendees can see the game-night details available to them. Availability responses are visible to people who can access the invitation. A signed-in person with a valid invitation link can join that invitation. Avoid placing sensitive information in notes or locations.
Service providers and email
Supabase stores application data and handles authentication, Vercel hosts the app, and Resend delivers app email when configured. Google and Discord handle social sign-in under their own policies. BoardGameGeek supplies catalog information; loading externally hosted game images may send your browser’s network information to that host. Hosting and authentication providers may process technical logs needed to run and protect the service.
We use your email for account confirmation and game-night notifications. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.
Sessions, retention, and your choices
The app stores a login session in your browser to keep you signed in. You can sign out, change your profile, remove shelf entries, and update availability until a host locks the date. Game-night records and original responses remain available to authorized participants. We retain account records while your account is active, subject to deletion requests and operational or legal retention needs; provider backups may persist after records are deleted.
Contact and deletion requests
For privacy questions, access or correction requests, or account deletion, email christianrcarey@gmail.com. We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before acting on a request. We will update this page when our data practices change.
